About North West Fly Fishers Club
The North West Fly Fishers Club of Tasmania was founded in 1967 with a commitment to sharing the art and pleasure of fly fishing.
Our club hosts monthly meetings commencing at 7:30pm, held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and fly tying on the 4th Tuesday of the month. The Club welcomes guests to our meetings and is always looking for new members who have a desire to learn and extend their knowledge in the art of fly fishing. We offer a range of activities and events for members and non-members alike. Social fishing trips and friendly competitions are a regular part of our calendar.
The club owns a very comfortable shack, located in the central highlands of Tasmania on the shores of Bronte Lagoon. Members have the luxury of utilising the shack at their leisure through the clubs online booking system.
Everyone is welcome – A proudly inclusive club for all, beginners through to the most experienced fly fishing anglers.
